A Wedding Pictorial to Remember

Weddings are not complete without the traditional couple pictorial–a themed photoshoot where the couple looks their best before the wedding. It can be romantic, contemplative, or just simple. They can be sent along with the invitations or kept for photo albums and frames for family and friends to see. One couple took it to another level…
An Indonesian Royal Wedding

Indonesia celebrated its own royal wedding as their princess, Nurastuti Wijareni wed Achmad Ubaidillah–a commoner working in the Vice President’s office. The Javanese-Muslim ceremony was attended by 2,000 guests that included Indonesia’s president. Different traditional rituals took place at Yogyakarta (one of Indonesia’s last sultanates). Unlike western society where guests throw rice for [...]

All you need is love: Paul McCartney marries!

We are extremely excited for Paul McCartney as he is now married to Nancy Shevell, his girlfriend of four years. It looks like nothing but smiles from the Beatle and his bride as they left the Old Marylebone Town Hall which is coincidentally near Abbey Road Studios.
A very creative wedding

A shabby-chic wedding with a little bit touch of vintage. The idea was to feel like you are inside a living room having a tea party. The couple wanted the guests to feel relaxed while having fun at the party. It was unique because it was a wedding made with love. Almost everything that you saw in the wedding was DIY – from the invitations, missalette, centerpiece, photo booth backdrop, activity area, etc. The couple didn’t want to have a typical Chinese wedding especially in terms of the decoration.
Looking back: All in the family

I can still remember our wedding day as clearly as if it was only yesterday. Our marriage ceremony was set for 8:30 AM, Saturday, January 15, 1977 at the Cardinal’s Palace on Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong. The brunch reception followed at Club Filipino where Quinito and I first met in 1973. Malou Veloso did my gown and the light blue and yellow dresses of my bridal entourage. Quinito’s suit was made by Paradiso.
To Have And To Hold

On October 27, 2008, Ericka wed Michel after a whirlwind romance and a wedding two months in the making. The ceremony took place at the Christ the King Parish Church in Greenmeadows and the reception followed at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
“I wanted my wedding to be traditional. No beach or garden but a simple church ceremony where I could elegantly walk down the aisle in my Edward Dee dress where I looked like “A Debutante Bride”. It was made of lace that had young and dainty flowers. I had a bow attached to the waistline and had a bubble skirt with gleaming crystals all over. It was truly spectacular!”
Love Actually

“My wedding day was truly magical… Rajo Laurel designed my gown as well as Neil’s barong. We knew there was no one else we wanted, it had to be Rajo. Rita Neri was a blessing as she took care of all the details I wanted for mine and Neil’s magical day.” Neil married Carla at the Sta. Maria della Strada Church and a “RED” inspired reception followed at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. Carla adds, “I love the boldness of red and I incorporated it to my wedding. The Edsa Shangri-la was beautifully decorated with beautiful red roses as centerpieces and even on the five-tiered wedding cake! It was truly my day!”
In Sweet Harmony

Karl and Raiza married on a Sunday in the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus. It was followed by a lavish reception at the Renaissance Hotel. Kristel Yulo, the sister of the bride designed the wedding gown and the whole entourage. Flowers by Margarita Fores and coordinated by Chinkie Agregado.
